Grassroots football in St Helens since 2008
St Helens Rovers Football Club
Mini soccer for our youngest players and women’s football from She Inspires to the First Team.
About the club
St Helens Rovers was founded in 2008 with a simple aim: to give people in the local community the opportunity to learn, play and enjoy football.
From the beginning, the club has been run by volunteers and has welcomed players of all ages and abilities. Over the years, St Helens Rovers has grown and developed while staying true to its community roots — creating a friendly, inclusive environment where players can develop their skills, make friends and enjoy being part of a team.
The club has also continued to expand opportunities for girls and women to play competitive football. Today, St Helens Rovers has four teams: Under-7s and Under-8s teams competing in the Warrington Junior League, a She Inspires team playing in the LCFA She Inspires League, and a Women’s First Team competing in the Liverpool Women’s League.
While the teams and players may change from season to season, our purpose remains the same: to provide a place for local people to play football, develop and enjoy being part of the St Helens Rovers community.
We are always looking for new players, coaches and volunteers. Whether you're completely new to the game, returning to football or looking for a new club, we'd love to hear from you.
